In recent years, the artist's study was focused and concentrated on developing three-dimensional projects.

This project comes from the use of forms of cardboard and is called "Project Box", or else his interpretation of a particular concept of interaction between artist and the user of the same.

Dorici's installations are created and designed to wrap the spectator, that visiting this work, can be found within it, the visitor becomes part of the same artistic expression with which, of course, has a first approach to foreign element.
These installations are composed of modules artistically selected, forming with their assembly, the body of the work.

The first implementation of the Project Boxes entitled "Opera piece - 1140 Forms" is inaugurated in Lugano in November 2007. The modules are used to create a tunnel of 2.4 meters by 2.4 meters in width and depth of 9 meters.

The work is designed as a complex of individual elements that can be disassembled and reassembled according to the varying emotions and inspirations of the observer. In the richness of life course of each it represents the mutability, the evolution of the concept of form and space and ultimately becomes a metaphor for the emotional experience of each.

One of the first artistic disciplines with which Dorici compares is the experimental engraving.
His interest for the engraving led him to move to Paris where for a long time and still frequent the Atelier 17 S. W. Hayter.
Linearity and geometry of the lines "here is a peculiar feature of the artistic work of Alex's hidden treasures, is expressed with the engraving, and with even more evidence – in his painting works.

Just as in chalcographic research also in painting on canvas, he employs special techniques, such as the use of spray cans.
Although it is not never been a graffiti artist, that choice makes his paintings seemingly closer to the street art.

Actually, they derive from one side of the expressionism, but also from geometric abstractionism and from the optical, make in simplified and synthetic shapes never foolishly, but always with clear contemporary vision.
